Is The Tone It Up Nutrition Plan Worth Your Money?
This is a question I receive all the time from people visiting my blog and today I thought I would give my opinion and thoughts about it. I wrote a Tone It Up review a little while back and I do mention the nutrition guide but don’t go to much in depth.
First I will tell you what I tell everyone who asks – Cassandra, is it worth the $150?
And this is what I tell them..In my opinion – NO! Let me explain why….
For a pdf Ebook style nutrition plan it’s way over priced in my opinion. It’s not a hard copy or something they physically send you, this is a pdf that they email you, which you will then have to print yourself. Sure there is a lot of good information and recipes, BUT come on…$150!! If you have $150 to throw away then go for it but to be honest there are better alternatives that are a LOT cheaper.
Why the high price tag I don’t know? Maybe it’s their growing fame or celebrity status, maybe it’s something I’m missing but I have seen and actually following something that is so much cheaper and it’s the only one I’ve been able to fully follow. ( If you’re interested check out my Toned In Ten Review where I talk about it more..)
I will say that Tone It Up isn’t the most expensive nutrition plan out there but it’s up there. I guess their marketing plan or TV interviews, Youtube Videos and Advertisements are working because people do actually pay that much for it..However…I have seen some blogs and online journals of women giving up on it because it was too hard to follow š
That is a LOT of money to waste. At the same time, there are a lot of people who have had success and I guess that is all down to how committed and how disciplined you are.
What Do You Get For Your $150?Ā
For those whoĀ are serious about buying it, let’s take a look at what’s inside the Tone It Up nutrition plan..
This is what you get:Ā
- The Tone It UpĀ® Nutrition Program

This might all seem like a lot but again, it’s a digital product and nothing is shipped to your physical address. Most trainersĀ andĀ nutritionists cut the price back because they save on shipping and the cost of publishing thousands of hard copies.
The Tone It Up Alternative That Is Working For Me.
I myself was very close to buying Tone It Up but the price was a big factor on my decision. I know it’s an investment in your body but after reading all the mixed reviews I just couldn’t pay that kind of money. So I searched high and low for something similar and found something so very similar even the names are very close to being the same.
I’ve been following a program called Toned In Ten by Erin Nielsen. Here is why I chose to buy this program, it’s very similar to Tone It Up COMPLETE program, and the price is only $19.
With Toned In Ten you get workouts, nutrition guide, a guide to help you look younger and a meal/shopping guide. It’s helped me lose 30lbs in 7 weeks and I feel amazing. You can read my full review and see my progress here.
There are videos as well as pdf guides but for $19 for a complete program you just can’t go wrong. If Tone It Up is a little to expensive for you, then definitely check out Toned In Ten.
